Orla Jackson is a visual artist from County Limerick, Ireland, who lives and works in London. Growing up in the West of Ireland shapes her practice today. The colours, the rituals and landscapes of that environment remain a constant presence, informing work that explores the emotional pull of home and reflects on themes of migration, memory and cultural identity.
Her life between Ireland and London has deepened her interest in how identity is shaped by landscape and cultural memory. She brings together her personal experience with broader cultural narratives. Using repeated lines, rhythmic structures and geometric forms, her work has a colourful abstract visual language that balances quiet reflection with movement. Orla completed an MA in Printmaking at the Royal College of Art, London in 2023.
