CHROMATIC INTERVALS is a collection of printed works that explores colour, light, rhythm and perception. The term chromatic refers to subtle shifts and variations in hue, while interval describes both the literal spaces between elements and the pauses, transitions and relationships that unfold across time and space. Together, these ideas consider how perception changes as we move, or as our surroundings shift.
Drawing inspiration from the light and colour of the West of Ireland, where she spent her early life, as well as the vocabularies of design and music, these works use simple repeated forms to present colour as fluid rather than fixed. They pulse with a quiet motion. Bright tones set against a white background creates optical depth, giving the works a luminous quality, as though they contain and emit light.

SUBSTRUCTURES is the artist's conceptual commentary on the hidden systems that underpin the visible world. Through colour and minimal form, the works nod to money, power, construction and broader cultural narratives. References to stacked forms, breeze blocks and concealed surfaces allude to Irish corruption, poor building standards and the deeper truths that lie beneath appearances, inviting viewers to look beyond the visible and consider the economic, political and social forces that shape everyday life.
